Materials and Technologies

Minerviart’s design approach is born from the meeting of metallurgical expertise and the ability to combine noble materials in a coherent way.

Each object results from a precise selection of metals, stones, glass, and ceramics, processed with advanced technologies to achieve essential forms, balanced proportions, and refined finishes.

Metals

Metals are the starting point of every Minerviart collection.
Each alloy is selected according to its intended use, context, and the desired visual effect:

Brass

warm and sophisticated, perfect for introducing a distinctive touch to the space

Steel

clean, essential, resistant to everyday use

Gold

for details and finishes that emphasize a higher level of refinement

Copper

material-driven and distinctive, suitable for projects where metal becomes the protagonist

Zamak

versatile and suitable for small objects, sculptures, and three-dimensional details

Marble and natural stones

Marble and natural stones are used as bases and supports for table numbers, menu holders, signs, and furnishing objects.

The presence of stone introduces a tactile and visual component that complements the metal:

Surfaces

smooth or slightly textured

Natural veining

that makes each piece unique

Contrasts

between glossy, matte, and material finishes

The combination of metal and stone creates stable, well-balanced objects designed to become focal points on tables, counters, or walls.

Ceramic and glass

Ceramic and glass are selected for projects where working with transparency, reflections, and soft surfaces is essential.

In combination with metal, they allow for:

Light effects

for candle holders, centerpieces, and small decorative objects

Visual lightness

to visually lighten the overall composition

Element of continuity

with plates, glasses, and accessories already present in the mise en place

Each combination is carefully designed to maintain coherence between shapes, colors, and finishes.

Workmanship and technologies

At the core of every Minerviart product is a precise technical process
that combines digital tools with artisanal craftsmanship.

Laser Cutting

Used to achieve clean profiles, sharp geometries, and precise details in metal components. Allows the development of complex shapes while maintaining tight tolerances and well-defined edges.

3D Printing

Used during the prototyping and custom development phase to verify volumes, proportions, and overall dimensions before final metal production. Particularly suitable for complex objects, sculptures, and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Engraving

Used to apply logos, textures, numbering, and graphic elements onto metal. Engraving becomes an integral part of the object, transforming functional surfaces into carriers of visual identity.

Finishes

Surface treatments and finishing processes complete the production cycle: polishing, matte finishes, and dedicated surface work define the object’s final character. The goal is to ensure long-term durability, ease of maintenance, and aesthetic coherence with the environment in which the piece will be placed.
